Referred
to in the Past as Fry Elementary School, our facility once echoed the
voices of small children, perhaps with raised hands, asking their
teachers "What will I become when I grow up?" or the still familiar,
"May I be excused please?".
Today, many of these
same children, plus a lot of new faces, walk the halls of what is now
known as the Springfield Small Business Development Center. Although
they still come to learn, or even take up residence, their visits are
for a new and different purpose, to learn all they can about becoming
successful business owners.
The Small Business
Development Center is also the "home" of SBDC, Inc., a non-profit
organization incorporated by the City of Springfield in 1984 to help
promote the economic growth of our region. To learn more about the
programs and services offered through SBDC, Inc., please continue.
