Mark Keating

Mark Keating assists clients with start-up planning and financial services. He has a wealth of experience in banking and lending garnered from his 30 years working for both large and small financial services entities. His experience includes business management, lending, marketing and operating budgets, employee training and supervision issues, all of which help him analyze the current standing of an existing business or the viability of a new start up enterprise. As the owner of a residential paint contracting company started in 2007, he understands all aspects of business operations -- from the owner's point of view.

Lindsey Evans

Lindsey Evans is our Online Media Counselor at the SBDC. Lindsey is the CEO of 16th Floor Media, a company she founded in 2012. 16th Floor assists clients with Social Media Management, Online Media Training, Websites and Video Production. 16th Floor is a Sliver Level Member of the Chamber of Greater Springfield. Together with Mollie Smith, Lindsey assists clients with creating a strategic marketing plan to create a budget for their company marketing dollars. She looks to help clients find their target customer where they already spend most of their time, online. 

Mollie Smith

Mollie is the owner of Olli Graphics, since 2005 and is a graduate of Wright State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts, Graphic Design & Photography. Mollie assists local business with their Graphic Design, Branding and Marketing needs. In addition to her own business, Mollie has worked for local marketing agencies as the "in-house" designer. Because of this she brings a unique viewpoint to branding. Mollie has worked with local clients such as Lee's Famous Recipe Chicken, Clark County Heritage Center and Center City Association. 


Richard J. Whalen

Rich is a former business owner and a retired commercial banker. He spent 30 years in the banking industry. During his banking career he served primarily as a commercial lender. Most of the companies that he worked with were classified as Small Businesses with annual revenues of less than $5,000,000. As owner of Whalen Brokerage Company, Rich helped people buy and sell businesses. Over a 10-year period, he assisted in successfully negotiating the sale of over 100 Miami Valley companies. During that period, Rich was also a founding member and treasurer of a national association of business brokers. He has an MBA from the University of Dayton.
